Planting Seeds: Growing Dreams Through Patience, Routine, and Care
At Simple Drew’s, we believe that good things take time, care, and a little patience. Whether it’s creating the perfect universal wash or working on something more personal - like a relationship or a new skill - success starts with planting a seed. But planting is only the first step. It’s the care that follows, the watering, the sunlight, the fertilizer that leads to something real and rewarding.
It has taken me many years to see life this way. Every goal, dream, or relationship begins as a seed. A spark of an idea. A chance. But for those seeds to grow, they need attention:
- Communication: Just like checking the soil, regular conversations can nurture a relationship or a project.
- Follow-ups: The way a gardener prunes and waters, consistency keeps momentum alive.
- Strategy: Planning ahead, like choosing the right season to plant, increases the odds of success.
The hardest part, though, is sticking to the schedule. I’m learning this myself. Some days, it’s easy to forget to water - whether that’s following up on an idea I had for Simple Drew’s or reaching out to someone I care about. But growth doesn’t happen overnight. It happens with routine. With discipline. With patience.
And then, one day, without even realizing it, you notice a sprout. Maybe it’s a small win at work. A deeper connection with a friend. Or a breakthrough in something you’ve been working on for yourself.
I’ll admit, I am a great seed planter; I get excited about new ideas and love dreaming up possibilities. But when it comes to tending the garden? Well, that’s where Jordyn shines. She’s the one with the patience and care to nurture something day after day until it blooms. Together, we make a pretty good team: I plant, she grows.
I guess that’s why I love what we’re building with Simple Drew’s. It started as just a seed; an idea for a wash that could do more with less. Now it’s growing into something I’m truly proud of. And just like any seed, with care and patience, who knows how far it will grow?
So, if you’ve got seeds you are planting, whether it’s a new skill, a relationship, or a dream - keep watering them. Stay on schedule. And trust that the work you’re putting in today will become the fruit you enjoy tomorrow.
Because the best things in life aren’t just found - they’re grown.
