My #1 Girl: How Jordyn’s Love Inspired Me to Build Simple Drew’s

Today, I’m especially grateful to spend Valentine’s Day with my beautiful wife, Jordyn. Over the years, our relationship has been tested time and time again - each challenge bringing us closer and making our connection stronger.

From the moment we met, Jordyn has been my biggest supporter, standing by me through every wild idea, career shift, and new adventure. Whether I was:

• Launching my own marketing company,
• Working at the Farmer’s Market selling soy sauce
• Picking up a part-time job at Lululemon,
• Teaching on the slopes as a snowboard instructor,
• Managing marketing at a brewery,
• Balancing my 9-to-5 at Save-On-Foods,
• Taking courses at Kwantlen Polytechnic University,
• Or simply trying to be present for my family and our relationship

She was always there encouraging me to chase my passions, pivot when needed, and reminding me that together, we could handle anything life threw at us.

In fact, Simple Drew’s wouldn’t be what it is today if Jordyn hadn’t encouraged me to start creating the products myself. She saw something in me before I ever saw it in myself. She believed in my ability to make something meaningful; something truly ours.

This is our second Valentine’s Day as a married couple, but every day with Jordyn feels like a celebration of love, partnership, and friendship. She is and always will be my #1 girl - just as I’ll always be her #1 guy.

So here’s to you, Jordyn. Thank you for believing in me through every twist and turn. You’re not only my wife but also my greatest adventure.
