Letting Go, Cleansing, and Moving Forward (Without Getting Vinegar in Your Eyes)
You know what stings? Apple cider vinegar in your eyes. Seriously, it burns like hell but in the right place, it’s one of the most powerful natural cleansers out there. It strips away build-up, balances pH, and leaves things feeling fresh. And honestly? That’s the kind of energy I want to bring into my life, too.
Since Jordyn and I got married in 2023, I’ve been more intentional about the friendships I invest in the ones that bring love, kindness, and growth into my world. As I get older, I realize that life isn’t about clinging to every relationship just because it’s been there for years. Not every apple makes it into the bottle, but even bruised apples can create something beautiful like a great vinegar.
The truth is, we’re all on our own path. I can’t control how others show up for me, and I’ve stopped trying to force connections that don’t naturally align. Letting go of that need for control? It feels like liberation. Instead of holding onto expectations, I’m focused on being the best version of myself, surrounding myself with people who uplift, not drain.
It’s 2025, and my mindset is simple: prioritize yourself, cleanse what no longer serves you, and make space for whats meant to be. If you’re here for the journey, amazing; lets keep growing together. If not, that’s okay, too. Maybe we’ll meet again at the next stop.
And hey - whatever you do, don’t get vinegar in your eyes.
